Files App - Creating Folders to Manage Content

Creating folders is one method to help your end users easily find content in the Files section that are most relevant to them. The Files Upload interface allows you to create folders to organize files. Folders can be nested up to two levels to further organize your reports. All files and folders are organized by alphabetical order - they cannot be manually sorted. 

Create Folders & Upload Content

  1. The Files tile is accessible from the TABS portal landing page. 


  2. Click the Upload button in the upper right corner of the Files interface. 


  3. Use the Choose File button to select a file to upload, then select New Folder from the list.
    NOTE: Folders cannot be empty. You must upload content to the folder. Empty folders cannot be saved. 


  4. Select the folder to upload the document to then click the Upload button.
     

  5. Refresh the browser window to view the new report in the new content.

Manage Content in the Files Section

  1. Drag and drop reports to new locations.
     
  2. NOTE: Reports cannot be nested under non-folders, and contents are arranged alpha-numerically.
