Excel Authentication Error

Excel Authentication Error

Issue

When you open Excel a TABS connected Excel report and attempt to sign in using your credentials, an authentication error occurs.

Examples of errors:
  1. AADSTS50011: The reply URL specified in the request does not match the reply URLs configured for the application.
  2. The database driver does not include the necessary capabilities and cannot be used with Excel.

Solution
TABS uses Azure Analysis Services to host our data models and enable real-time analytics. If you would like to interact with our live data using Connected Excel, you must have the correct Microsoft Client Library installed on your computer. Installing this library enables Excel to connect to our Azure Analysis Services model(s). It is a standard Excel library and is not customized for TABS in any way.

Download the Microsoft Client Libraries

Download and install the Microsoft Client Libraries:
Microsoft keeps this page updated so that you can always find the most recent version. Install all of the libraries as shown below including the 64-bit (amdx64) and 32-bit (x86) versions.
